More than skin deep
Another cream treats the surface. Your skin is telling you about what’s underneath.
Skin issues are often treated as a skin problem alone. But your gut, hormones, nutrient levels and stress load all shape how your skin behaves, so that’s where we look.
The inside-out approach
What’s really driving your skin
We map your skin against your cycle, digestion, stress and diet to find your triggers, then treat the cause.

How we work together
Calmer, clearer skin
A clear, step-by-step approach to support your skin from the inside.
Skin History & Trigger Review
A detailed look at when your skin changed, what makes it flare, and what you’ve already tried. We map your skin against your cycle, digestion, diet, stress and medications to find the patterns behind the breakouts.
Gut-Skin Support
The gut and skin are closely linked. Bloating, irregular bowels or a history of antibiotics can show up on your face. Targeted gut support is often where lasting skin change begins.
Hormone & Nutrient Support
Androgens, oestrogen balance, blood sugar, zinc, vitamin A and essential fatty acids all influence how skin behaves. Where it’s relevant, we look at testing and build a plan around your results, not guesswork.
Stress & Inflammation Support
Stress is a common trigger for eczema, rosacea and breakouts. Practical strategies, herbal medicine and nutrition help calm the inflammatory load so your skin isn’t constantly on high alert.

Your questions

Yes. A naturopath looks at what’s driving the acne rather than treating the skin alone. Common drivers include hormonal shifts (especially androgens), blood sugar swings, gut imbalance, low zinc and stress. Once we know which ones apply to you, treatment can be targeted. It can sit alongside care from your GP or dermatologist.
-
Often, yes. The gut and skin share immune and inflammatory pathways, so digestive symptoms like bloating, constipation or reflux frequently travel with acne, eczema and rosacea. A history of repeated antibiotics can also affect both. When gut symptoms are present, supporting digestion is usually part of the plan.
-
The pill suppresses the hormones that drive oil production. When you stop, those hormones can rebound and breakouts often return within a few months. This is common and usually settles with the right support for hormone balance, blood sugar and key nutrients like zinc.
-
Perioral dermatitis often flares with topical steroids, heavy skincare, stress and gut irritation. Naturopathic support focuses on simplifying what goes on the skin, calming inflammation from the inside and addressing any gut or immune triggers. Please see your GP first if you haven’t had a diagnosis.
-
Skin cells turn over roughly every four to six weeks, so most people notice early changes within two to three months. Hormonal acne often follows your cycle, so we track progress across a few cycles rather than week to week.
